It is with great sadness that we announce the death of L'Dea Delton Handy of Fort Wayne, Indiana, born in Auburn, Indiana, who passed away on September 17, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Handy and Opal Handy; and his brother Jim Haas. He is survived by: his wife Sherill Handy; and his children, Jonell Trieloff (Scott), Aaron Raudenbush (Heidi) and Steve Handy (Dodi).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 6222 Ellison Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to Humane Fort Wayne, Aldersgate Methodist Church and The Red Cross - a fitting tribute to a man who spent his life learning, giving, and inspiring others to do the same.
