He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Sawyer Gurney III and Edith Walberg; his wife Dana Gurney; and his son Kenneth Gurney. He is survived by: his son Allen Gurney of Portland, OR; his daughter-in-law Beth Levy of Portland, OR; his grandchildren, Ebba Gurney and Soren Gurney of Ann Arbor, MI; and his siblings-in-law, Carl Ault of Rochester, IN and Rita Ault of Rochester, IN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and their children.
