She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Strand and Alice Strand (Hermanson); and her sister Diane Petersen. She is survived by: her children, Nichole Long (Richard) and Chad Eldridge; her grandchildren, Alexis Eldridge, Peyton Miles, Ethan Eldridge and Brayden Eldridge; and her siblings, Thelma Schirmer and Thomas Strand.

Memorials in Lois' memory may be made to Charis House, Fort Wayne.
