He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Mary McDaniel (Vogt); and his son Michael Wayne McDaniel. He is survived by: his sons, Ron McDaniel (Jennifer) of New Smyrna Beach, Dave McDaniel (Pam) of Fort Wayne and Steve McDaniel (Rachel) of Fort Wayne.
