We announce the death of Lynn R. Elder of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Elder and Audelene W. Elder (Imler); his granddaughter Cora Grace Elder; and his sisters, Karen Dale and Charlene Young.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie L. Elder (Thompson) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his sons, Daniel Elder (Maria) of Yoder and Matthew Elder (Rebekah) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Zachary Elder (Amber), Emily Roop (Scott), Elise Mayer (Wyatt), Lukas Elder, Cameron Elder and Micah Elder. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
