We announce the death of Mae Helen Siler-Holliday (Fort Wayne, Indiana), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 67. Mae will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. James W. Siler Sr. and Mae Ella Siler; her siblings, James W. Siler Jr., Joseph L. Siler and Jacqueline L. Siler; her son Terrence E. Holliday; and her nephew Michael J. Muse.
She is survived by: her daughter Amber E. Holliday (Everett); her granddaughter Aaliyah Everley Bradley; her siblings, Evelyn Siler-Savage (Arthur) and Daryle L. Siler (Sonya); her uncle Tom Lee (Pearl); her close friends, Sharon Hill and Artremease Caldwell; her nieces and nephews, Iceiss Siler and DeMondo Siler; and her pet Teddy Holliday. She is also survived by six nieces; five nephews; 25 great-nieces and great-nephews; her five beloved foster/adopted children; and a host of relatives, friends.
