She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Detmer and Dorothy Detmer (Teke); her husband Gary Zerkle; her grandchildren, Harry John and Abigail Grace; her sister Sharon Keith; and her brother-in-law David Zerkle.

She is survived by: her children, Melissa Theismann, Laura Jones (Brian) and Douglas Zerkle (Lisa); her grandchildren, Mallory Gross, Courtney Bishop, Christopher Stetzel, Sarah, Megan Theisman and Justin Zerkle; her great grandchild Jessalyn Adams; and her brother Denny Detmer (Mary Ann).
