She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kammeyer and Wilhelmina Kammeyer; her husband Wayne John Gerbers; and her siblings, Arnold Kammeyer and Amanda Kammeyer Hartman.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Marks (John) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Ronald Gerbers (Joanne) of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Shirley Williams (Bruce) of Wooster, Ohio.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
