She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter M. Garwood and Mildred Marie Garwood (Harmon); her former husband Ronald K. "Runt" Brown; her husband Sam Thompson; and her sister Rita Dentzer.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney K. Brown, Tina Marie Leavenworth of Vero Beach, Florida, Bonnie Lou Mann of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Anthony L. Brown of Decatur, Indiana; and her brother Richard Garwood (Mary) of Angola, Indiana.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
Preferred memorials are to Humane Fort Wayne or Parkview Hospice.
