She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry E. Ault and Helen Ault (Wyss); her husband John J. Abbott; her brother Robert Ault; her grandsons, Nicholas Hartge and Jonathon Abbott; her great grandchildren, Scarlett Marshall and Nash Wheeler; and her brother Joseph Abbott (Sue).
She is survived by: her children, David Abbott (Lori), Paul Abbott (Debbie), Joan Abbott and Barbara Abbott; her grandchildren, Jennifer Wheeler (Scott), Ryan Abbott (Abby), Justin Abbott (Sarah), Elise Truty (Bill), James Jones and Jennifer Marshall (Ryan); and her brother James Ault (Mozelle). She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to The Shepherd's House, Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of NYC, or Mission Aviation Fellowship.
