She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Welker and Gladys Welker; her husband Dr. Philip L. Smith; her son Stephen Smith; and her brother Russell Gene Welker.
She is survived by: her sons, Philip Smith Jr., Larry Smith (Maribeth) and Richard Smith (Heidi); and her grandchildren, Andrew Smith (Karen), Kathryn Smith, Timothy Smith (Kristen), Elizabeth Arnold (Travis), Amanda Blinn (Evan) and Nathan Smith (Allison Reiplinger). She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Towne House Activities Fund.
