She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Soelen and Hattie Van Soelen (Van Hal); her husband Alfred Weg; and her siblings, Jennie, Gertrude, Henrietta and Case.

She is survived by: her children, Marsha Bormann (John) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Alan Weg (Tonya) of Platte, SD, Alden Weg (Kelley) of Hütschenhausen and Melissa Van Holland (Mark) of Excelsior, MN; her grandchildren, Christopher, Rebecca, Stephen, Daniel Bormann, JoAnna Clousing (Russell), Jessica Brown (Casey), Tyler Weg (Savannah), Nicholas Weg (Ensley), Natalie, Olivia Weg, Vanessa and Vivian Van Holland; her great grandchildren, Linnea Clousing and Tatum Weg; her siblings, Pete Van Soelen, Marion Van Soelen, Frank Van Soelen (Karen), Bob Van Soelen (Marilyn) and Betty Nikkel; and her sister-in-law Deloris Veltman (Al).
