With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lou Brown of Fort Wayne, Indiana, born in Safford, Alabama, who passed away on May 19, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Brown (Rosie Brown) and Mamie Brown; and her siblings, Mamie Brown and Jimmie Brown. She is survived by: her children, Arthur (Chevelle), Hollis Dumas and Patricia Brown; her brothers, Albert Brown Jr. (Leona), Willie (Sharon) and Arthur Charles (Rose); her sister-in-law Corinne Brown (Michigan); and her grandchildren, Shira Brown (Georgia), Rena Brown (Georgia), Jassan Brown (Indianapolis), Jordan Brown (Houston), Justin Brown (Indianapolis), DeMarcus Dumas (Houston), Demetrick (Alexandrea), Brittany Brown, Antonio (Jamee) and Porsha Brown. She is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews, twenty-three great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, and a host of cousins.
