Thomas-Oden; her granddaughter Twilah Newmon Thomas; her great grandchildren, Edward Jones Jr. and Kweli Thomas; and her brothers, Ellis L. LaGrone and Wayne Lee Jr. LaGrone (Nona Reen Norman).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Red Skelton, Lucille Ball, Benny Hill and Carol Burnett; her children, Mary Govan (Matt), Linda Thomas, Carlisle Lamb (James), Clarence Thomas (Angelica) of Fort Wayne and Charles E. Thomas of Fort Wayne; her son-in-law Roosevelt Oden of Fort Wayne; and her siblings, George LaGrone Jr. of Fort Wayne, Magdalene Young of Fort Wayne, IN and Bernicteen Wingfield (Leroy) of Emmet, Arkansas. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson along with a host of nephews, nieces and other family and friends.
