She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence J. Winkler and Minnie B. Winkler (Einsiedel); her husband Earl E. Norris; her siblings, Lawrence, Robert Winkler and Katherine Handlin (Winkler); and her son-in-law Norman E Grayless.

She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl A. Grayless (Norris); her granddaughters, Amy Grayless Shuler (Paul) and Victoria Grayless (Rebeca Conti); and her great grandchildren, Danielle Shuler Hoover (Ryan), Madison Shuler Menshy (Connor) and Brenden Shuler. She is also survived by five great great-grandchildren.

Memorials in Mary Jane's memory may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.
