She was predeceased by: her parent Willie James Washington; her son Marquet Maydwell; her husband Loveless Orlando Maydwell; and her brother Willie James Washington. She is survived by: her children, Dayran J. Maydwell (Tanisha Bright) and Lasundrala Cotton (Dave Cotton); her grandchildren, Dayvonna J. Maydwell of Tampa, Kirhee Maydwell (Liz Taylor) of Ft. Wayne, Nicholas Maydwell of Tampa, Christopher Jackson of Palm Beach, Jonquaivia Gay of Orlando, Wayna Price of Tampa, Marquet Maydwell Jr. of New York and Asia Maydwell of New York; and her mother Nikki Maydwell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins, friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ellis Funeral Home (1021 E Lewis St, Fort Wayne, IN 46803). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
