We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2023, at the age of 47, Matthew Eric Wetzel (Fort Wayne, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Sharon Wetzel; and his father-in-law Clarence Omo. He is survived by: his father Jack Wetzel (Patty); his wife Rose Wetzel; his children, Caleb Wetzel and Breanna Wetzel; his siblings, Tim Wetzel (Nikki), Kris Wetzel and Shelly Drew (Tom); his mother-in-law Carolyn Omo; and his pet Payton. He is also survived by four step-siblings.

Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God or Kidney Foundation.
