He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Karl and Mary Edith Neumann (Martin); his wife Jeanne Neumann; his son-in-law Martin Tippmann; and his siblings, Betty Moldthan, Mary Ann Foote, Kathleen Janke, Eugene Neumann, Emmagene Bercot, Virginia Maloley and Pearl Peterson (Donna Jean Meyers).
He is survived by: his children, Dianne M. Leatherman (Greg) of Fort Wayne, Elaine M. Tippmann of Loveland, CO, Andrea L. McGhee (Tracy) of Aliso Viejo, CA and Joseph M. Neumann (Bonnie) of Fort Wayne; and his sister Donna Bell Wright. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (Masses) or Heartland Hospice.
