With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael M. Aker in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on June 14, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Russel Aker (Ruth) and Alice Moser (Arthur); and his siblings, Dave Aker and Bonnie Durnell. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Jill Schmitz (Ray), Lisa Fry (Jim), Jenny Relue (Doug) and Michael Aker (Penny); his grandchildren, Megan, Madison, Nick, Tyler, Taylor, Luke, Robby and Wesley; and his great grandchild Eva.

Donations and memorials can be made to the Fort Wayne Firefighters Museum or Resurrection Lutheran Church.
