He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Dayton and Margaret Dayton; his wife Sue Dayton; and his great grandchildren, Aidan and Carter Turner.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Dayton (Anne), Jessica Aberle (Marty) and Joshua Dayton (Sarah); his brother David Dayton (Eary); and his stepchildren, Jeff True (Jenny) and JoAnn Blount (Troy). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
