We announce the death of Michael Wade Freistroffer (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 23. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, John Freistroffer and Jim Modglin; and his aunt Aleesha Lerum. He is survived by: his parents, Lyndie Rogers (Nathan) and Scott Freistroffer (Andrea); his siblings, Jack, William and Anne; his stepsiblings, Waylon, Weston, Will, Lily and Asher; his grandparents, Susan Freistroffer, Wade, Roe Lerum and Shelly Gentil; and his great-grandparent Joyce Modglin.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N Clinton St, Fort Wayne, IN 46825).
Memorial donations may be given to the family or Vernon Manor Health and Rehabilitation.
