We announce the death of Michael Alan Schaefer of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on October 29, 2026, at the age of 67. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Schaefer and Norma Schaefer (Thiele); and his pet Premier. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne M. Robinson (DeGrandchamp); his stepson Kyle Robinson; his son Jake Robinson (Jessica); his granddaughter Amelia of Fort Wayne; his sister Michelle Abbott (Ron) of Fort Wayne; his niece Samantha Vervynckt (Todd); Beckett.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church (6318 W California Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46818).
