Mike leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Mike’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Mike will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel Velarde and Felicitas Velarde (Aguirre); his wife Colleen; and his son Robert. He is survived by: his children, Wendy Rieley, Michael Velarde, Julie Moore and Gail Castillo; and his sister Sylvia Manning. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
