She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Taylor and Rosetta Taylor; her husband Jim Walker; her grandsons, Corey McDaniel and Matthew Johnson; her sister Lillian Gordon; and her sister-in-law Almeda Walker.

She is survived by: her sons, Don McDaniel (Marlene) and Rick "Mac" McDaniel (Jani); and her siblings, Martha Scott, Wilbur Taylor, Dorothy Wilcox and Raymond Taylor. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
