He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ashby and Doris Ashby (Marvin); and his brother Ronald Ashby. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Benner; and his children, David Ashby (Leslie), Laura Prior (Donald) and Amy Shepherd (Joe Schubert). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; and three great-granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Faith United Methodist Church or Stillwater Hospice.
