She was predeceased by: her parents, John Swetnam and Agnes Swetnam; her husband Dick L. Gibson; her siblings, Colleen Spears and Duane Swetnam; and her daughter Lora L. Knuth.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Gibson (Treva Bauer) of Noblesville, IN and Paul Gibson (Tonia) of Fort Wayne, IN; her grandchildren, Greg, Denis (Knuth), Nicholas, Rachel, Julia (Gibson) and Jack (Gibson); and her great grandchildren, Peter, Charles, Gwendolyn and Mackenzie (Knuth).
Memorial donations in her honor may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
