She was predeceased by: her parents, John Burris and Mildred Burris; and her brother James Burris (Tommy). She is survived by: her sons, Tim and Ed Mitchell; and her grandchildren, Jenna Ross, Kip Mitchell and Heather Freistroffer (Tom). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the American Legion Post 296 (130 W Tillman Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46807).
