Nancy Cerney Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Nancy Cerney in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Nancy, born on July 16, 1935, passed away on October 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Dr. Brian Cerney; her parents, Earl Hunt and Jean Hunt (Andrews); her brother-in-law Frank J. Potosky, Jr.; and her nephew Stephen Potosky.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Cerney (Gigi) of Longmont, CO and Jeannie Perry of Alpharetta, GA; her grandsons, Zack Perry (Bethany) and Matt Perry (Payton); her great grandchildren, Elliana and Abigail Perry; her daughter-in-law Alyssa Cerney; and her sister Judith Potosky (Hunt). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Saint Anne Chapel – Randallia Place (1900 Randallia Dr, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are St. Therese Catholic Church, The Christ Child Society or Women's Care Center of Fort Wayne.
