She was predeceased by: her parents, Erving Roy and Dorothy Mae Vendrely (Hursh); her brother Ronald "Bud" Vendrely of Spencerville, Indiana.; and her son Scott Anthony Romero. She is survived by: her son Randall Romero; her granddaughters, Maria Romero Ehinger (Luke) and Olivia Romero Yeakle (Kyle); her great grandchildren, Sophie and Asher Ehinger; and her daughter-in-law Laurie Romero.
