He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Wilhelm and Catherine Wilhelm (Warren); his brother Tom Wilhelm; and his brother-in-law Glen Oglesby. He is survived by: his wife Mary Daly; and his siblings, Chris Clark (Tom), Paula Oglesby, Mary Gardner (Wally), Michael Wilhelm (Deidra) and Frances Wilhelm. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N Clinton St, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). A memorial service was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N Clinton St, Fort Wayne, IN 46825).

Memorial contributions may be made to the National Audubon Society or the Nature Conservancy.
