She was predeceased by: her parents, David B. Geyer and Nellie T. Braun; her husband Merlyn Luther Bloom; and her sister Joan Shank. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Bates (Gregory) of Fort Wayne, IN and Cynthia Jordan (Christopher) of Rockville, MD; her grandchildren, Christina Surine (Patrick), Lauren Richeson (Eric), Dianna Jordan and Dominick Jordan; and her pet Gidget. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (7710 E State Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Lutheran Church (7710 E State Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815).
Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church Youth Program or Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
