He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Hughes and Elsie L. Hughes (Goodpastor); his wife Rosanna Hughes (DeVivo); and his brothers, Charles Hughes and Richard Hughes.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Hughes (Deborah) and Janette Hughes; his grandchildren, Taylor Autrey (Kyle), Maria Emmons (Michael) and Torey Hughes (Lishbeth); and his siblings, Charlotte Grenzenbach and James Hughes. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
