Paul Lydy Obituary

We announce the death of Paul Lydy (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 85. Paul will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Lavern Lydy and Helen Elsie Lydy (Kroemer); and his sister Devonna H. Gallmeyer. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lydy of Kendallville; his daughter Kamilla; his son-in-law Mark Shire of Kendallville; his son Richard; his daughter-in-law Eileen Lydy of Winfield, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Matthew (Stefanie Shire), Dustin (Tiffany Shire), Derrick (Taylor Shire), Kegan and Kasandra Shire of Kendallville; and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Carys, Braylon and Bryson Shire.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. John Lutheran Church (301 S Oak St, Kendallville, IN 46755). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM.

Memorial donations may be made in Paul's honor to St. John Lutheran School.
