It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paula Denise Simmons of Fort Wayne, Indiana, born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on December 15, 2022, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul J. Simmons Jr. and Hazel M. Simmons (Vinson); her siblings, Jacqueline R. Simmons and Darryl D. Simmons; and her grandparents, Paul J Simmons Sr., Pauline Simmons (Jones), Talmidge Brown and Beatrice Vinson.
She is survived by: her child Kimyetta Simmons University Park (Cortney Brown); her close friend Dennis C. Brown Sr.; her grandchildren, India, Aijayah, Jaylen Jani and Keir; her great grandchild Jonathan; and her sons, Cliffer L Simmons, Springfield and Ill. She is also survived by nephews, nieces cousins.
