Peter Crewe Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peter Crewe of Fort Wayne, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 2, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Peter may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Benjamin J. Gelling. He is survived by: his daughters, Suzanne Swan (Jim) of Leoma, TN, Gloria Mahon (Gary) of Fort Wayne, IN and Marina Gelling of Rowlett, TX.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In recognition of his many contributions to tennis, he was inducted into the Tennis Hall of Fame in 2014 at Wildwood Racquet Club.
