He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Thieme. He is survived by: his son Christopher Thieme (Mari); his grandchildren, Claudia Cogut (David) and Hans Thieme; his great grandchild Theodore Thieme Cogut; and his friend Barbara Ulmer.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the D. O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls (8325 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
