She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferrol Joseph and Cecil Joseph (Turner); her daughter Nancy Butler; and her sister DiAnna Girardot. She is survived by: her children, Elaine Schmidt (Eric Riffle) of Indianapolis, David Schmidt (Trisha Thompson) of Fort Wayne, Michelle Davis, Tim Grindle (Michele), Cheryl Richardson (Ken) and Mary Johnston; her son-in-law Jerry Butler; and her sister Helen Haines of Van Wert, OH. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 18 great-great grandchildren.
