He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sonner and Linda Millington (Gary "Mac"). He is survived by: his sons, Aaron Sonner (Sarah) and Adam Sonner (Amanda); his stepson Shannon Frey (Kayla); and his brothers, Rick Sonner (Jill) and Jason Sonner (Holly).
