The memory of Raymond C. Thompson of Fort Wayne, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on June 10, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his wife Marie E. Morrey of Patrick's Catholic Church; and his daughter Sharon M. Schadek. He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia A. Minix (Doyle) and Kathleen D. Thompson; his son-in-law David Schadek; his grandchildren, Brian Minix (Melissa), Betsy Minix, David Schadek (Carrie), Brandon Schadek (Susie) and Derek Schadek (Nicole); and his great grandchildren, Carter Minix, Jayla Staten, Layla Staten, Declan Minix, Patrick Minix, Connor Minix, David Schadek, Taylor Schadek, Ryleigh Schadek, Levi Schadek, Ally Schadek, Zoey Schadek and Owen Schadek.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (4916 Trier Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815). A Mass will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
