In loving memory of Richard Sigmund Buszek of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who departed this world on August 14, 2025 at the age of 91. Richard leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sigmund Buszek and Josephine Buszek (Hyba); his daughter Barbara Buszek; his grandson Russell Buszek; and his brothers, Robert and Ronald.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Ozier Buszek; and his children, Rick Buszek (Terri) of Newport, Michigan, Jolene Buszek Sternat of Rochester Hills, Michigan, Betsy Majewski (Ted) of Madison, Florida and Michael Verslype (Samantha) of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (4074 Dryden Rd, Dryden, MI 48428). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ducks Unlimited, St. John's Episcopal Church, Dryden or the Alzheimer's Association.
