He is survived by: his children, Andre Whitt (Latorie) of Fort Wayne, Marquitta Byers of Fort Wayne and Tequaysha "Shanay" Tubbs of Indianapolis; and his siblings, Ernest Byers of Fort Wayne and Clemenestine Byers of Memphis. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Come As You Are Community Church (7910 S Anthony Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46816). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
