He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Otto and Lola Sarazen (Lamley); his wife Gwendolyn Wonderland; his sisters, Mary Ann Carpenter and Virginia Fink; and his stepson Melvin Wagner.
He is survived by: his daughter Angelia Winslow (Kenneth Barry) of Fort Wayne; his siblings, Joseph D. Sarazen of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Betty Lou Holmen of Marion; and his grandchildren, Simone, Tyler and Elmer. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
