He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl C. DeKay and Ethel DeKay (Senning); and his brother Earl Clair DeKay. He is survived by: his wife Gwen DeKay; his daughters, Bethany DeKay (Todd Brown) and Cynthia Faraday (Adam Reef); and his grandson Evan Brown (Holly).
