He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Alexander (Nicholas), Lisa Klausing (Michael) and Rebecka Quinette (Justin); his grandchildren, Madelyn, Paityn, Eleanor (Ellie) and Ryker; and his brother Robert "Bob" Girard (Cathy). He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross or Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
