Richard Alan Stevenson Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Alan Stevenson Sr. of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on December 6, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Ethel Stevenson; his aunt Fannie Mae Brooks; his uncle Annanias Brooks, Sr.; his siblings, Howard Stevenson, Otis Brooks and Sandra Brooks; his stepmother Minnie Reese-Stevenson; and his stepsiblings, Charlie Reese (Janet), Terry Reese, Larry Reese, Raymond Reese and Betty Reese.
He is survived by: his sons, Howard L. Stevenson II (Christa) and Richard A. Stevenson Jr.; his wife Carol Stevenson; his siblings, Robert Stevenson, Kenneth Stevenson, Will Stevenson (Shirley), Duane Stevenson, Sr. (Vickey), Michael Stevenson, Roger Brooks (Evelyn) and Karla Jo Brooks; his aunt Eunice Brooks; and his stepsiblings, Albert Reese (Patricia), Malinda Reese and Queen Esther Dubose (Alfred). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Richard A. Stevenson Scholarship. Checks can be made payable to the "Wayne Township Trustee Office RASS Fund" and mailed to the Wayne Township Trustee's Office located at 320 E. Superior Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802.
