She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois F. Krueckeberg and Olga L. Krueckeberg (Koenemann); her husband Roger Poitras; and her sisters, Pat Post and Bonnie Hoffman.

She is survived by: her children, Brian Poitras (Mary) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jeff Poitras (Leah) of Phoenix, Arizona and Sarah Poitras of Scottsdale, Arizona; her grandchildren, Sierra, Delilah and Miles; and her sisters, Nancy Edelen (Tom) of Monroeville, Janelle Davis (Mike) of Decatur and Becky Barker (Allen) of Wabash, Indiana. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Preferred memorials can be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
