He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward H. Gerdom and Virginia Gerdom (Christman); his wife Anna M. Gerdom (Hine); his son Edward R. Gerdom; his son-in-law Michael Lansaw; and his sisters, Marjorie Schrader, Mildred Gerdom and Mary Gerdom.
He is survived by: his children, Michael R. Gerdom, Stephen R. Gerdom, Laura A. Watercutter (Bill), Susan A. Lansaw, Linda A. Conrad (Kevin), David Gerdom (Mary Beth) and Mary Taylor. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
