He was predeceased by: his parents, José Gonzalez and Consuelo Gonzalez (Torrez); his wife Gloria Lynn Johns; his sons, Stephen Gonzalez and Johnny Gonzalez; and his siblings, Rebecca, Antonio and David.
He is survived by: his sons, Roberto Gonzalez (Sandra), Joseph Gonzalez and Robert Gonzalez (Nicky). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
