With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Layman of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on March 22, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Robert leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Layman and Hilda Layman (Berkes). He is survived by: his wife Vicki Jeannette Kanost; his sons, James Layman of Columbia City, John Layman of Fort Wayne, William Layman (Stephanie) of Fort Wayne and Keith Layman (Regina) of Fort Wayne; and his sister Beverly Williams of Fort Wayne.
Memorials in Bob's memory may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
