He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Sordelet and Bertha Sordelet; his granddaughter Amie; his brother Don; and his wife Florence Sordelet (Markoff).

He is survived by: his sons, Scott T. Sordelet (Jill), Barry M. Sordelet (Rita) and Mark R. Sordelet (Cindy); his grandchildren, Kirsten (Daniel), Paige, Tayler, Garrett, Hayden, Summer and Jake; and his great grandchildren, Noah, Henry, Indie, Ronan and Niabi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
